The Owl Sewing Caddy
The Owl Sewing Caddy is the cutest sewing caddy I’ve ever seen! You can download the convenient PDF pattern from the Craftsy pattern store here.
Sewing Machine Organizer
This Sewing Machine Organizer would probably save me from misplacing my snips all the time! Even better, it doubles as a sewing machine cover when you’re not sewing. Handy dandy indeed! Find the tutorial here.
One-Hour Basket
This basket would probably take me more than one hour to sew, but it would be so useful for organizing all my fabric or even the kids toys. Find the convenient PDF for download on Craftsy here

I love the Online Craftsy Classes. This Craftsy class for home organizers would be fantastic for learning a whole range of skills including sewing with layers and stabilizers, quilting your fabric pieces, adding zips and pockets and how to best work with bias binding. Crafty tend to have great sales on their classes often to check it out to see if you can snag this class for a great deal.
Scrap Bucket Basket
This scrap bucket basket tutorial is a great way to use up those scrap pieces of fabric as well as create a useful basket for catching more scraps. I like it!
Art Tote
This Art Tote would be great for the kids to have a nice portable drawing station. Download the handy PDF on Craftsy
This wool ironing mat would also be a great tool to use when making this project.
Grocery Bag Holder
This grocery bag holder helps keep my laundry room organized as I don’t have stray bags floating around the room. Even though we have to take our own bags to the supermarket where I live (you need to pay if you’d like the plastic bags) I still end up with a billion plastic bags from other places!
Mesh Shower Caddy
How good is this mesh shower caddy! Perfect for having in the shower. You can download the PDF here from Craftsy. I need something like this to take to the pool for all the kids pool toys…..

Travel Craft/Sewing Bag
I love the idea of this sewing bag. Lots of pockets to store the sewing supplies in and keep them organized! You can download this pattern in a handy PDF from Craftsy.
Phone Wristlet Clutch
I’ve recently become a phone having a little phone clutch. I got one for Christmas and find I drop my phone a lot less if I carry it around in the little clutch! This phone wristlet clutch would be a great speedy project to make for your phone. Check out the tutorial here.
Felt Storage Boxes
These felt boxes look super easy to make and one of the best things about felt is that it doesn’t fray! You could make these in all different sizes to suit your needs. Find the tutorial here.

This cute little sewing kit is one of the classes you’ll find over on Creativebug. Another great felt project that would be great to go in a portable sewing caddy of some sort. Creativebug allows you to watch any of their classes for a monthly subscription fee. You then get to keep one class forever in your Creativebug Library. I love this about Creativebug. The hardest thing for me is choosing which classes I want to keep for life! So many great ones. Anyway, if you’d like to try Creativebug out and watch the class to make this cute little sewing kit, you can do so with the FREE Trial here.
I hope you got some great inspiration to sew some things to help keep your life more organized and uncluttered!

Thank you, Domenica,
for including my felt boxes! It’s a great selection of organizing projects. I love you covered so many uses – and oh now I really crave that cute sewing machine organizer. Lucky me, I’ve got a piece of adorable cotton print that would be just perfect for that (and no excuse for not making something right now, haha!) xoxo
