I love my quilting clips. I use them for many things while sewing. They even get used for other things out of the sewing room. This set comes with a storage tin and various sizes. You could even make a wrist holder for these too with this tutorial!
This book contains a huge amount of embroidery designs to stitch and wear. This would make a perfect gift for a sewer who likes quick and easy sewing projects. This book is currently selling on Amazon for $11.44.
I keep a retractable tape measure in my bag at all times. Really! This particular retractable tape measure is extra long. You'd be surprised how often you need a tape measure and how ofter that bit of extra length comes in good use.
Creativebug is a subscription-based website with a library full of craft projects and all with video tutorials! There's a wide variety of sewing based projects, which include everything from sewing and drafting your own clothes to quilting and home decor. There are also classes for art and design, papercraft, cooking, and jewelry making. I really love the way Creativebug videos capture the personality of the presenter. The 3 month subscription comes in at exactly $15 but there's sure to be something for everyone. If you find the 3 month subscription has gone back up to normal price then you might need to check back at a different time. They always seem to come on sale a few times or so throughout the year.
Wool pressing mats are growing in popularity as more and more sewers are hearing about them. These pressing mats are can turn just about any surface into an ironing board! They are super easy to put onto your sewing table to press your sewing project. This is a mini version and would be great for travel or for a sewer who wants to try it first before buying a larger mat. These sell for around $10-$15 for this size.
No one likes having to undo a seam. No one likes having to do it when it's hard to see the seam as well. Dritz have a magnified seam ripper with an LED light. Who would've thought? These are currently available for around the $12 mark.
I use heat erasable pens all the time. I tend to use the Frixion brand mostly, but these ones come in a set with refills. Sometimes these pens can leave a ghost line or the colour reappears with extremely cool temperatures. So be sure not to use them on front of your precious fabrics
I haven't used these before. The spool huggers are on my list of 'I'd like them but wouldn't buy them for myself' list. So go ahead and buy them for your sewing bestie! they'll love you for it, I'm sure.
I love these sewing art prints! The frames are not included. I think the seller may have had problems with people thinking they were as the bullet points on the item are quite funny. Check out the first one if you have some time....
Any of these gifts would also make great sewing gifts for mom!
