A few months or so has passed since my last Sew and Tell post, but I am always so grateful when I receive a photo of something someone has made with one of my sewing projects. Here they are for you to check out.
The Book Cover
I’ve receive a couple of photos of these awesome book covers made with the Reversible Book Cover tutorial. It’s so great to see others sewing them up. They are really very easy!
Kath, from England, has sewn up a few of these and has even added a ribbon book mark and pen holder to one of them, and a button and closure flap to the others! So very creative 🙂 Kath has a blog so you can check out what else she’s been sewing up over there and see some of her other adventures too.
Beka also sewed up one of these book covers for her bible. I love the way she topstitched around the edge of the whole cover. Gives it a very neat finish!
Sock Monkeys!
This tutorial for the sock monkey has been my second most popular video on YouTube with over 100000 views! These little guys are super cute and are made with a pairs of socks. Craziness!
Anyway, Deb made this cute little creature, called Monkeychan! Love it!
I do love seeing everyone’s photos so send them in if you have one or ten!
I’m working on a couple of new sewing project tutorials that I have planned to release in the coming months.
Anyhoo, I have a backlog of blog posts and tutorials sitting in my brain so must get going. I only have a limited amount of early morning time before the kidlets wake up to start the day.
Until next time, happy sewing!
Domenica 🙂
