The Stirling by Janome is a $99 sewing machine I recently purchased from Aldi. You can currently purchase it here for $159 (at the time of writing this). From my recent research I have found that this sewing machine is the same as the Janome JR 1012 and the Elna 1000. The Elna 1000 is currently sold at Spotlight in Australia and has been extremely popular.

If you live in the US then you would know these machines as the Janome New Home Arctic Crystal / Blue Couture / Pink Sorbet sewing machines and you can purchase these on Amazon.

Seriously, take a close look at the photos of all these machines. The only thing different about these machines is the printing on the front and the brand name. The functionality of these machines is the same.

Over the years I have come to learn that companies take a product and whack their brand name on it. The Stirling by Janome is an Aldi brand so you pay less for the machine compared to if it had the Janome or Elna brand on it. Check it out for yourself in the images below.
