I use a piece of tape to hold the thread on the bobbin. I have a storage for thread and everything fits pretty good so far. If I wanted I could organize the threads and matching bobbins on the little thread stands, but so far, it’s working out. I do love your idea tho, I just don’t know how to store them to keep them dust free. And I don’t want to shop for extra stuff lol.
A purpose made thread storage would be very handy. I like your idea of simply using a piece of tape to stop the thread ends from unravelling. I think I’ll do that to stop the thread on the spool from unravelling. Thanks for sharing!
I use drinking straws for my bobbins. I cut a straw in half and push the bobbins onto the two straw halves. The straws push against each other and keep things nice and tight. To keep the thread from unwinding I wrap the ends either between the bobbins or between the straws.
What a great ideas! I’d never considered that before. Thanks for sharing!
