It’s time for The Great British Sewing Bee to start again for another year. Many of us who are not located in the UK have tried various ways to watch The Great British Sewing Bee online.
I’ve been watching this show for the last 5 years or so online. This year I have decided to share how I do that because I want as many people as possible to experience the joy of watching The Great Britain Sewing Bee without having to rely on only watching the recaps on YouTube.
I’ve made a video tutorial because that’s my style. I want to make it as easy as possible for you to do this. Let me know if this works for you!

Find The Great British Sewing Bee on BBC-One on Wednesday/Thursday or BBC-Two on Saturday/Sunday depending on where you are in the world and what time of the week you remember to record.
Step by Step Photo Instructions to Watch The Great Britain Sewing Bee 2021 Season 7
Step 1
Register or login to FilmOn here. I recommend using a desktop/laptop or tablet to do this. These instructions don’t seem to work on my phone but you could always try it for yourself.
Step 2
Once logged in go to BBC-One (airs on Wednesday/Thursday) or BBC-Two (airs on Saturday/Sunday). The airing time and day will be different for you depending on where you are in the world.
Step 3
Click the ‘Record’ button to the far right of the show title.
Step 4
Once the show has aired and recorded then go to your recordings in the main menu and click on ‘Play Video’
Step 5
Watch and enjoy The Great British Sewing Bee online!! The show will open up in a little window and there may be an ad to watch first. After the ad you can enlarge the window and enjoy.
Step 6
Once you’ve watched the current show be sure to delete it by clicking on the dropdown arrow on the far right. Then don’t forget to set the next episode to record.
Does This Work for watching the Great Britain Sewing Bee for You?
As mentioned before, this should work on a computer or tablet. If you want to watch the episodes on your phone then follow the steps above to record then once the show has recorded you may watch through the FilmOn app on your phone.

I could not find BBC-1 or BBC -2 on the live tv choices, only BBCNews. And, the Sewing show did not come up in the search. I am in the U.S.
Any suggestions?
